Hi so I'm building my first pc and I've gotten most my parts, two of which are my gpu and motherboard.

the gpu is an xfx hd Radeon 6850 1gb Ddr5 which is crossfire ready.

The mobo is an ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS AM3+
And it has Integrated ATI Radeon 3000 support hybrid CrossfireX and DirectX10.

Now from my research, since they are both radeons can I crossfire Them to improve performance? If so how?

Thanks for your time

Solution
So far as I can tell, the 760G chipset that the motherboard has is not compatible with an HD 6850 in a Hybrid CrossfireX configuration. Only cards dated back to the HD 3xxx series are supported.
