Hi there me036,

I guess no one can tell you what are the chances of hard drive to fail. Just because of that, it is a really good idea to have a back up of the crucial data that is stored on it.
Apart from that, you should base your choice on capacity, RPMs and cache. The thing is that most probably you will not notice that much of a difference when using any of these drives.
Regarding the two WD Blues that you have listed, the WD10EZEX is a newer model, thus considered to be better than the other WD Blue that you have listed.

Cheers,

They Say that the Seagate ST1000DM003 HDD have a high failure rate after a year but I don't know about the WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM, they say that the Seagate ST1000DM003 HDD is faster my current HDD right now is a WDC WD800AAJS-00B4A0 and I have been using it for more than 5 years and it still works like charm so i could say that the WD Blue will last longer than the seagate but does the speed really matter that match cause i will be watching movies and playing a lot of games and game size would be like 10Gb or more so will the speed affect it

Both drives have the same capacity, RPMs and cache. Both will run movies and games just fine. You will not really notice any difference regardless of which one you choose. Of course, it may be a good idea to wait for some more opinions from other users.
