Does PCI-E 2.0 gives low performance than 3.0 in gaming ? HELLPP !!

Im goin to buy the R9 280x or the r9 290 , and the motherboard im having dose not have a pci-e 3.0 in it 
. so i wanted to ask that will it affect my gaming experience ?

in the worst case a few fps, not more, it will work fine
