Hi, I need help picking parts for my new PC I'll be building. $1500-2000 is going to be for components excluding peripherals such as monitor, mouse, headset, etc. I'll be using this PC for gaming. I plan on getting these parts during the black Friday sales so that some components may be cheaper. Please suggest some builds for me. Any suggestions on which monitor I should get is also welcome (<30 inches). The more suggestions the better.
Thanks!
Edit: I've already got storage, so you can exclude that. Oh and I'm also looking for water-cooling over air cooled

Why the i7 just wondering?

``. I'll be using this PC for gaming. ``

i know that..... i am not stupid man if he had a tight budget ok i5 4690k will be enough , but i7 4790k with hypertreading still superior even in gaming with 5-10% better

latest NVidia drivers increased BF4 perf by 20% with HT on

Not so sure about that case, i'm looking at others, suggestions are welcome.
Mind explaining to me the specs on maximus hero? (it's okay if you don't feel like it but I'm kind of a noob at mobo specs)
I'll also be getting either benqxl2420z or asus pa248q monitor

Well I'm not exactly the motherboard pro myself I just know that the Asus R.O.G range are the best of the best!

Put it this way that board wont disappoint you!

But from what I know it's just a good board that comes with the nice little extras to do overclocking and makes on board audio a little nicer as well as offering a better cooling soloution for the north bridge!
