Will my AMD FX-6300 bottleneck a GTX 770?

hi so I have been looking to get a new video card, especially since this one is on sale! but i was worried about bottlenecking.

depends on the game.

nothing major though, and you certainly won't get worse performance with the 770 than with your current card so worth a shot.

You will get a bit of a bottleneck, but if you overclock the bottleneck should disappear.

you'll need a decent motherboard and a cooler that can handle the OC though, what are your?

PSU?
Motherboard?
CPU Cooler?

You can do a little overclocking then, nothing massive though.

In all honesty though if the GTX 770 is on offer at a good price i'd go for it, it will improve your performance over your current GPU depending on what your GPU is right now.

What is your current GPU? I mean if you say GTX 760 then I will say don't bother haha.

Here's a benchmark for comparison to choose whether you'll go for it or not. The CPU may limit you but it will not performance worse than say the 265.
