Consistent Bad_Pool_Caller BSOD on Windows 8.1 HP Envy Laptop

Hey I have been getting persistent Bad_Pool_Caller BSOD on my laptop.
It seems to be happening very frequently after using Unreal Engine 4 and when I am using Google Chrome. Other people on the forum seem to be having the Bad_Pool_Caller problems as well but it was not much help reading through the posts.
Can anyone help me out?

step1; please run mdsched.exe to see if ram is the culprit.

step2; run cmd and then type chkdsk /f

step3; run cmd and then type verifier then from graphical user interface >>> Automatically select all drivers installed on this computer

download this tool to analyze BSOD http://www.resplendence.com/downloads download free edition of whocrashed the output of this program should be enough to solve your problem.

please answer to this topic I'm sure this issue will be resolved.

I am trying to run the verifier but it keeps crashing. When I ran the mdsched.exe it said it was ok. chkdsk /f will not even reopen windows. Please help as I use this laptop for school/work/personal.

it's good if it crashes indicates driver problem all you have to do is go back safe mode and turn verifier off with this command; verifier /reset and check dump file with whocrashed. I suspect it's graphics driver you will need to update.

Let's revisit this. I have a similar machine from HP: DV7-7212nr. I had the same issue as C994. However, it was definitely NOT a hardware error - which the 'net seems convinced it is. The Envy is an EFI GBT system. It has created a very small file at the beginning of the partition table that causes it to attempt to boot IMMEDIATELY when sensed by the embedded ROM - which CANNOT be turned off through BIOS or any other user intervention. Because of this, whether one uses a docking station or other hardware...even moving the drive to the second bay...causes the automatic BAD_POOL_ERROR. Further, because of this, no software can load from any source (USB, DVD, dock, etc.) before the error occurs and the machine faults. This may be particular to HP, but I doubt it.
I am sure that data recovery services, and of course, the OEMs can brute force get into the HDD. Those machines are very expensive and unlikely for any Consumer to have access to. I just got a quote from Kroll Ontrack for $1900 for my 750GB (only 40% full) WD Black HDD.
So, because I have complete back-ups: full disk copy monthly onto a WD 750 Red (NAS) drive, my solution was to swap drives.
HOWEVER, I have no solution to getting into the old drive. So a $75 dollar brick sits on my desk waiting for an answer.
I know you may not find this helpful - but after 40 years in the PC world, starting with DISKCOPY> in DOS 1.0, I continue to make full backs ups with at least an additional duplicate.
