So my computer upgrade turned into a new build (which is my first), where the only thing I kept around was the old RW-CD ROM. Whenever I start my computer, my fans, LEDs, and the cooler pump lights up, but the computer will not POST. Here are the parts

GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD3 Motherboard
AMD FX-8310 @ 3.4 CPU
Crucial 16GB (8x2) RAM
WD 2 TB @ 7200 RPM HDD
AMD Radeon 6570 HDX Graphics card (yes I will upgrade)
Kenetics 750w PSU
CoolerMaster 120mmXL liquid cooling unit
Rosewell GALAXY II case w/ 3 case fans

I ran a calculator for my build and it said I was still about 100 watts under the max load so I don't think that i'm not pumping enough power in and I've already tried reseating the CPU, RAM, and GPU, to no avail. My next step is going to be to try and breadboard the unit but I'm partially scared to and I've also already gone over the wiring over 4 times now. Not receiving any beep codes or display. Any help would be appreciated, Thank you!

Hello... What type of cable are you using from your Video card and your monitor?
1 ) Try a different connector on your Video card.
2 ) make sure your monitor is is set for that type of connector input.
3 ) use a DVI cable and input/ouput.
Remain Calm and logical in your Work.

What's odd is that if you look through all the Gigabyte MOBO chipsets, it doesn't show that CPU at all, but it shows the ones around it. The only difference between the one I got and the FX8300 is that mine is an OEM model, from what i've seen on other sites, if the MOBO shows support for the 8300, it should support mine too.

Also Ironside, i've tried all the ports on my graphics card, the problem is that it won't even POST which means there's no way that it's going to output video to the monitor.

Alright, I contacted GIGABYTE support center and even though the CPU is not verified on the site, the support technician said that the CPU would still work in the motherboard no problem. After extensively testing and re-analyzing my PSU, CPU, and connections, i've come to the conclusion that the most likely cause of my problem is a DOA motherboard and/or CPU, both of which are in warranty. However, if for some reason it's not the motherboard I will be back. Thank you for all the help guys!

Alright, so I know it's been about 3 months now, I have recently tried putting in an AMD FX4300 which is most definitely supported by the MOBO and I have also RMA'd the MOBO 2 times. Whenever I have RAM in, I receive no beep codes but when I don't have ram I get continuous long beeps which means that the MOBO is not detecting RAM

I have had everything checked by a local shop and they said that everything checked out except the MOBO.

I contacted GIGABYTE to get the technician notes and they said the board POSTs just fine.

I'm really at a loss here of what it could be. I'm planning on getting a stick of RAM to test the board tomorrow, but i'm really at my limits

Alright guys, thought I would give an update. It was in-fact a horribly unlucky mismatch of problems, (though I'm surprised it's not something like me forgetting to plug something in). So the MOBO was infact a DOA, then I found out the CPU wasn't actually supported untill the most recent BIOS version that wasn't even out when I talked to the techs, THEN I found out my RAM was also DOA which finally led to my harddrive encountering errors in the S.M.A.R.T. diagnostics of the Raw Read bitrate and failing on hour 10. but now I have everything up and running and this thing runs like a champ. Thanks for all of your help guys, I really do appreciate it.
