Can you play Xbox360 <> PC with Xbox360 Emulator?

Is it possible to play online XBox360 games by installing one of the XBox360 Emulators on a PC?

I'd love to play some games with my boy and he gets on much better with the XBox controls as he's used to them. It would be great if there were some solution that would allow me to play with him on his Xbox from my PC...

... or does anybody know of any online games that can be played across the two environments? I know there are difficulties because of the relative power of the two different systems, but I'm just looking for a way to play a game with my boy, it doesn't have to be a level playing field or even particularly great experience. Just needs to work well enough for us to have a bit of fun together.

There is no good Xbox 360 emulator available. There is one in the works, but you're not going to be playing games on it anytime soon.

As far as cross-platform games, none exist as far as I know.

I think the solution is a xbox controller hooked into the pc :)
You know games have xbox 360 controller support you just need a wired one though

Oh sorry didnt read the post correctly
but there is no way to connect to xbox from pc online

all 'xbox' emulators dont work
so far there are only ps2 and other older systems that have emulators

Not quite sure if this is what you are looking for, but what I understand of this is:

You want to play a game online while you are playing with mouse and keyboard and your son with a 360 controller.

This is possible via Steam, lots of games can be played with both mouse and keyboard and controller, before you buy a game, just check the tab on the right.

For example, this is a very good game, I've played/am playing it myself: http://store.steampowered.com/app/247950/

It can be played online with both keyboard and mouse and with xbox controller. It is a co-op game in which you are going through a story line, it's possible to play this with 2 other players, via the online system.

You can hook up your pc to a television, or even a beamer to have the best expirience, just duplicate screens if you want to sit behind the computer.
