Are the selected parts okay? Anything that you would replace? Items that could be replaced by parts with better performance and lower cost?

Thanks

Just my two cents...

Unless you're interested in overclocking, I'd take the non-k version of that CPU, and eventually go for an Asrock motherboard, as they tend to be very performant while usually costing a bit less than most known brands.

Get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler, as its performance per dollar is higher IMO. Also, I'm a bit biased against "be quiet!", as anything I've bought from them personally or advised to buy to friends, except some PSUs, eventually broke down or didn't live up to expectations.

Unless your fiancee is into video editing, 16gb will give some more breathing room, but won't be mandatory. 8gb are more than fine, and try to find a 1.5v 1600mhz CL9 8GB set from G.Skill. If it wasn't that they...

If it wasn't that they weren't available when I bought mine, I would've taken them rather than the Vengeances.

The rest looks more than fine to me.
