Your CPU is almost as good as an i5-4690K so the following benchmarks should only be very slightly better than what you would get:

So the answer is YES, however there will be times when you should know how to tweak the settings. Use FRAPS, and don't just crank things up to ULTRA if you end up well below 60FPS average.

I recommend learning how to use Adaptive VSYNC for games you don't easily stay above 60FPS (for 60Hz monitors). I do THIS for example in AC Brotherhood (with a weaker video card):

1 - FRAPS ON. Game ON. VSYNC OFF.

2 - tweak to get above 60FPS at least 90% of the time

3 - force on Adaptive VSync (for the exact game; in NVidia Control Panel...)

4 - if screen tearing too often, re-tweak and lower a couple settings.

What I just did there is to make sure it's running with VSYNC ON most of the time as I can't stand screen tearing. I didn't want to just run LOW to ensure I always stayed above, and if I went too HIGH with the quality I drop below 60FPS.

**Take this to heart: You never want to use normal VSYNC if you drop below the target frame rate (i.e. 60FPS for 60Hz refresh) because the synch mismatch causes stuttering. So either have VSYNC OFF, never drop below (or rarely) or use Adaptive VSYNC.
