Extra info

I am currently interested in any recommendations for a suitable videocard to run PC games at max/high settings whilst recording/streaming a video card and I am willing to spend in the region of $500, however, I am willing to dig a bit deeper if necessary. Additionally, I would like to know whether a case fan would is recommended as I do intend to do things such as overclocking, whether my power supply is suitable and whether I should consider 32GB RAM instead of 16GB I have picked out as I do intend to do things such as recording/rendering/editing/uploading.

I would like to thank everyone in advance for any advise or recommendations as I greatly appreciate any and all advice and if there is anything I have not asked or brought up then you believe I should know about then please do not hesitate bring it up. Additionally, my internet is decent with my download and upload speed standing at about 45-55 Mbps each.

P.S. if you recommend another part or think a part I have picked is not suitable for what I intend to use my pc for (Gaming/recording/editing and uploading), I would appreciate it if you could
provide reasons.

Solution
You will not need any additional cables to connect additional RAMs. 16 GB RAM is more than enough for anything you throw at it, it can handle. There's not much noticeable performance gain. But it may decrease the HDD/SSD Read write times so it may give a tiny boost with a little more lifetime to your SSD.

A gtx 970 would be a great graphics card for you.

Also are you rendering videos etc? Cause if not you could save some dollars by just getting a i5 4960K, but if you are stick with the i7

Rest of the system looks great, really solid build :)

The difference is that the 980 performs better at higher display resolutions (Higher than 1080p)

With this build and the video card you recommended, what settings could I expect to play the higher end games that are demanding whilst recording footage.

What games at present have the option to go higher than 1080p?

Why is there $50 price difference between the Asus GeForce GTX 980 4GB STRIX Video Card (STRIX-GTX980-DC2OC-4GD5) and the
Asus GeForce GTX 980 4GB Video Card (GTX980-4GD5)?

I Apologise for the silly questions but I am nervous as this is the first time I am putting a pc together. :)

Shouldn't the video card that is factory overclocked be more expensive? That isn't the case as the other video card (GTX980-4GD5) costs $50 more.

Just two more questions, whether you have any recommendations on a better power supply or if the one I have picked is sufficient and if I should consider 32GB RAM instead of the 16GB I picked out.

Well, I would like to leave the option of SLI open for the future and for time being would 16GB RAM be sufficient to game/record/render/edit and upload or is 32GB RAM something I should seriously consider and what cables will I need to use the system (e.g. cable to plug it in)?

Aside from the questions I asked above is my build complete?

If it is, what is your opinion?
