Which build is better (FX 6300+ GTX 970) or (i5+GTX 760)

Hi,

I need help determining which would be the perfect build for Gaming at 1080p with everything maxed out.

Build 1 is Intel based Build 2 AMD based. Processor Motherboard and GPU change rest remains the same.

The other components remain the same between the builds The prices listed are in India Rupees and I cannot exceed a Max of Rs.65000

Build1 - Initel i5 with a GTX-760..

Go for intel build or amd its your decision.

this is beast gpu.,it can play all games at ultra.
I know the components are overpriced in India.
This is best for your build.
So increase your budget bit more

Well the 8350 is almost the same price as the i5. So i chose the i5 instead. These are the prices I got from flipkart. the local market is a bit cheaper for the AMD processor haven't had a chance to check out the pricing on the intel

Now intel is better for gaming and your rig will play all the games.
But the new games are optmized for amd
and new games need more cores.
And what is your budget for gpu, i can suggest better gpu for your budget

Since you are getting a custom heatsink would go with the amd and overlock it. Don't know how high you can overclock it but with a rig like that maybe it go really high(get the black edition).For the Gpu would go with a GTX 970(on paper it is the better one)
