And my budget is £1000 my dad just let me go a bit higher but is there anyway i can get windows 8 for free. Before i was going to get the windows 10 preview and use that until windows 10 comes out because then i will have some money. Is there any alternative that can run most games until comes out because the only alternative i know is linux and its good but it slows down games and it also cant run many games on steam and crossover is not the best program for running games. If you guys have any idea on what i could do i would really apricate it.

Solution
No, there are no free versions of Windows except for the 10 preview.

If you're spending 1100 pounds on a build... you can afford windows.

PS: Don't bother with an i7; get an i5. I'd also suggest a 250GB SSD.

You can find OEM versions of almost any OS for cheap on sites like amazon.
Yes they are legal, but you should check who you're buying from and do you trust them.

UPDATE: Okay Win7 OEMs can be found for anywhere between 15 - 60$
Win8 is much more expensive.

Like posters have said, you can try linux but its going to suck for the specific experience you're looking to do. You could try using the free Windows 10 preview but 1. its beta and 2. it'll go away soon. But that might give you enough time to raise cash for a proper OS. Also aside from buying it OEM (typically $90 US) you could look in to any school programs if you're a student. I know here they give College students pretty good discounts on software including Windows so that may be another alternative to bring pricing down, so check to see if academic pricing programs exist in your area.
