Hello all,
Motherboard is P9X79, using GTX760. originally had 1 x 8GB DDR3 kingston in slot B1 (computer wouldn't boot with this graphics card if stick was in slot A1, took me a while to figure that one out!). So i have placed the 2nd stick (new) of DDR3 8GB kingston into slot B2 right next to the original.
boots up fine behaves fine but now i get a strange intermittent error where the screen blacks out (no signal to monitor) and then comes back to life instantly but gives error:
i thought this was due to the old driver being installed (screenshot above is after installing new driver), but alas after installing new graphics driver still same intermittent problem. So far i've noticed the temporary crash happens at start up or close to it. after running for a while it doesnt seem to happen.
any suggestions?
different RAM slot?
put up with it?
thanks
