Hello, I'm really not too knowledgeable on graphics cards and I'm looking at some to buy with some Black Friday sales. My CPU is going to be the i5-4690k and I'll choose a motherboard that can accommodate whichever CPU and graphics card I choose. On a side note, this will be for gaming, in case that affects anything. I'd like to choose a good graphics card based on both performance and price. Right now, with the Newegg Promotion I should be able to get any of these listings under $150 which is about my limit, maybe a little over.

So here's my list of choices:

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks guys!

it is not better but seeing that you are going in for a budget build , having more power than you need is unnecessarry.

for the 280 a i5 4460 is good enough. the 4690k(especially the k which is meant for OCing) is an overkill you wouldnot need that much processing power and most games dont use that much , so...

Go for the 280 , it is the best card in your choice it is even better than the 750ti.

the 280 gives decent performance in a combo of 1080p+ultra/high settings

Suggestion- if you havenot already obatined your CPU then go for the i5 4460 if the difference in price s good enough. that way you can get a better card

I think you can instantly rule out the 750 ti with it being the most expensive and least powerful out of the three. Would the extra ~10fps gain warrant $20 extra you would get with the R9 280 over the R9 270?

Also, do you have a decent PSU? :)

Thank you very much for your input! Out of curiosity, why is the 4460 a better choice than the 4690k?

Thank you very much for your input! I always thought the 750 ti was great, so thanks for stopping me from making what could have been a bad decision!
My PSU isn't too great, so I was planning on upgrading to this 600W PSU.

Edit: Maybe I was thinking of the 780 ti as being great, rather than the 750.

normally the price diff is arounf 50$ for which you can put in and get a better videocard
