Was thinking to get a new desktop and here are the details:

MB: Gigabyte Z97X-gaming 5
graphics: ASUS GTX970 DC2 Strix
hd: Hitachi Enterprise 1tb
ram: 16gb Corsair Vengeance Pro 1600MHz CL9
psu: Corsair RM Series 750W Modular Gold
audio: Creative SB audigy RX7.1

Can someone recommend me a good casing? Am looking at Cosair Obsedian 550D as i heard its quiet and gd in keeping the temp down. But its kinda expensive and i'm not sure if the size of the graphics card will fit into the case too. Are there any other gd casings out there that performs in terms of noise and temperature?

750W is enough for GTX 970 sli. If you plan to run just one 970 550W would be enough. The problem is your PSU, Corsair makes some decent PSUs but a few of their series compromise on build quality. Stay away from CX, CS, GS, and RM units.

I could suggest a PSU if you could tell if you plan to sli or not and whether you would like a fully modular unit.

The R4 is a very good case, no need to worry about temperatures.

Thanks RazorZ and milkod, i am looking at Fractal Design R4 too.. Seems to be very soundproof but i couldnt find any info on temperature.

Razor, which PSU do you recommend? I was under the impression that 750W will be sufficient to run my system.

I don't plan to have sli. As for PSU, i have no preference as to whether its modular or non-modular. I just want it quiet.
