Hello all-

I have a Cavalry CAUP25160 160GB external hard drive with a lot of music on it that I'm trying to put that on my windows 7 machine. Thing is, when I plug it in to a USB port, windows says it doesn't recognize the device and the drive doesn't show up in My Computer. Googling has proved unfruitful for finding drivers of any sort. It is a bit of an older drive, I've had it for several years. Ideas?

Oh, it's actually there - the computer thinks it's an "Initio Default Controller". I think it came up with that idea after I did a windows update search for the driver.

EDIT: Ah, solved the problem. Turns out the cable I was using can't supply enough power (I read that this could be a problem). Used another cord from a different ext drive and everything works as it's supposed to.
