Want a PC already built - no monitor, keyboard, etc.

High :
Where can I get just the PC without more? I was looking on NewEgg at barebones items but I'm not sure what they include.
I'm getting this for someone and don't want to have to add bunch of stuff they already have, i.e., keyboard, monitor, mouse, as they have somewhat new ones.Also, already have Windows so don't need that. Just looking for the PC with some latest processor, etc.

the diy options on newegg will require you to put it together yourself but will include all you need. what is your friend planning on doing with the pc? basic student use with light gaming can be achieved with a pretty cheap prebuilt (hp, dell, acer....) and decent gaming can be had with a custom prebuilt for decent prices as well. you'll pay a premium over building it yourself but if you don't want to build it the extra cost is there.

what kind of budget are you looking at? can help find a decent prebuilt system if that's the way you want to go.

Office work. But he can't build it and I don't have time. I guess I don't mind getting the other stuff with it, but hate paying for windows again.
I guess I could get a local builder to assemble it. Wonder if NewEgg offers that service - pick the parts and they assemble?

Check out www.pcspecialist.co.uk They do great custom builds and acceories like monitors and keyboards are optional. When you order from them it comes already built.

newegg does sell prebuilt pc's from a lot of companies and some from custom vendors like ibuypower and cyberpower pc.

but if it's use is office work mainly any $3-400 off the shelf pc will work fine.
