Hey there! I just build a new mini- ITX gaming system and when I try to install it tells me this msg: "Setup was unable to create a system partition or locate an existing partition." The SSD (Samsung 840 evo) is brand new, so is the mobo ( Asus Z97i-plus) I really have no idea what to do now. I'm installing from a flash drive, if that matters.

On that screen can you go into Secure Boot and make sure it is disabled. Then go into CSM and set it to enabled or legacy.

What I did, and this is before I had installed W7. When you get to the language selection page before you choose which disk to install on, you press "shift + f10" and open the command window and.type *diskpart* and hit enter to get started. Now my SSD was set as disk 1, so I typed *select disk 1* and pressed enter, and after that typed *clean*and pressed enter and it was done. Type exit to get out of the command window. That made it work for me and I could install W7. Hope that helps :)
