what type of gpu should i buy with a budget of $250.00

I'm building a gaming computer and I was wondering what type of gpu I should get with a budget of $250.00. I plan on getting a Motherboard Sabertooth990FX-$179.79 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131877

and a CPU AMD FX-8350-$139.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131877

I was thinking about a Radeon R9 270X or 280X or the 285. My budget is around $250.00. What do you think?

And is my choice on the motherboard and CPU good or would you go with something else? I have a low budget.

I would really recommend a 970 as I have an MSI GTX 970 for my first gaming build and it is superb! If you literally can't go any higher I would definitely recommend the R9 290 on the AMD side or the GTX 770 on the NVIDIA side. But my recommendation is go for the R9 290 if you CAN'T go above budget but if you can adjust your build or whatever go for the GTX 970!
