Hey guys, so I just finished a $1200 gaming PC build and am looking for opinions on everything. Below is the link to the parts:

The only thing I am a bit unsure of is the OEM/tray processor. Will the setup I have work fine with that processor, or would I be better off going with a boxed processor? How cool will the OEM/tray processor stay with the setup I linked?

Also, what type of performance difference will I see with the FX9590 vs FX8350? I am using the desktop about 70% for work related functions (lots of parallel and virtualization; I do simulation heavy-research) and 30% for gaming. Will it be big enough to justify the price difference, even though it is relatively small? I'm trying to stay as close to $1200 as possible.

Any advice for the overall build is much appreciated. I'd love to hear opinions.

Well if you're willing to spend 220 on a cpu, I'd advice going for the i5 4690K as it has better performance per core which will make more of a difference in game. Your psu is definite overkill. You need about 700-800W.
Your title says a 1200 budget but your list is almost 1500, are you willing to spend that much? If so I can make a killer pc list for you with that budget. :)
On a budget of about 1200 here's a build that would be more suited.

If you're willing to spend 1500, then just throw another 970 in and change the case to the NZXT H440. Otherwise it's about 1100.
