I have a HP Pavilion s5610f Slimline Desktop with:
H-Apricot-RS780L-uATX Motherboard
AMD Athlon II X2 250 Dual Core 3.0GHZ Processor
3GBs of RAM (Non-ECC memory) holding two DDR3 DIMM (240-pin) sockets with:
PC3-8500 (DDR3-1066) (1GB)
PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333) (2GB) (Memory can be expanded to 8GBs maximum)
64bit Windows 7 Home Premium preinstalled (OEM)
ATI Radeon 3000 Integrated Graphics
640GB Hard Drive SATA 7200RPM

And both sticks are PC3-12800. What I have currently is PC3-8500 (DDR3-1066) (1GB), and PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333) (2GB). I couldn't find ram modules in those speeds that are under $70. I heard that from here:

"This 1600MHz module is programmed to clock down to 1333 / 1066 / 800MHz where the system requires it"
Is this correct? Most places including Crucial did not mention this. So I'm hoping both sticks clock down 8500 PC3 and 10800 PC3. I already made the order and that's all I can allot.
