Hi,

I've recently installed a Xonar DS audio card in my Windows 7 Ultimate PC. The drivers installed fine and in Device Manager it says that it's working properly. However, I can't hear anything when I plug my speakers into any of the ports. They work fine when I plug them into the motherboard (Asus P5N-E SLI) audio port. Please can someone tell me how to get it working?

Thanks,
Joe

I seen a post where someone said you might need to go into Windows and disable motherboard on-board video ports to allow the computer to recognize a new sound card. I am not an expert so hope this works for you, I have never disabled my on-board video ports but might need to soon because I just ordered a Xonar DGX sound card from newegg
