Not much of a "rig" but here is my temporary laptop to satisfy my desperate need for gaming.

Specs:
Processor: AMD A6-4400M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
Speed: 2.7 GHz
Number of Cores: 2
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7520G
Dedicated Memory 768 MB
Total Memory 4.0 GB
Memory 7.4 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 8 (build 9200), 64-bit

I'm trying to get a stable 30 fps in skyrim with low-mid settings (no AA or AF)
I've been using Radeon Pro to OC my GPU to 1300Mhz and also have experimented using AMD OverDrive to push the CPU up to 3.2 GHZ.
Although I have noticed when OC'ing the CPU to 3.2 It doesn't lock itself at 3.2Mhz, It will dip down from 3.2 - 1.8 which causes some stuttering.

Are there any programs or methods on how I can get the most out of this laptop for gaming?
All help is appreciated, Thanks!

I hear Windows 8 Is laggy. You can try to switch to windows 7 see if that works or you can try to delete items you don't run alot but please do make sure there not important.

I don't have much experience with laptop gaming, but I don't think there is usually much OC headway in laptops...

I suppose you could shut down all other background programs while gaming. That could free up some RAM and processing power.
