I am using Windows 8.1 , it has Windows Media Player, works fine except DVD pay, I need a plug in to use this feature.
Of course there are lot of plug in's in Windows store. Overwhelming
VLC is suggested option in this forum, if I download this from their site, will this be part of the Media Player ? or it will be stand alone.
I am looking for a simple Plug-in, which will work and without any additional junk software install.
I will not play any Blue Ray DVD as I do not have a Blue Ray DVD Rom.
Also how do you know the Windows Media Player's Version. I could not find the version info in Players properties.
