Hi everyone,

I am building a new computer and am looking for an appropriate power supply. I already picked all the other parts: Leru's build
I got confused about what is necessary, what is useful and what is just extra, so any advice on that would be very much appreciated. I had this posted in the system forum before realizing that the components forum would be more appropriate.

I'd like to keep the price under £100 if possible, since my budget is already rather stretched.
I thought about getting a 550W, not sure if that is enough though and whether getting a PSU with more wattage would be better. On that note: Does a PSU that has higher wattage (like 550W vs 650W) cost me more in electricity bills?
Modular would be nice, but performance of the PSU is more important to me.
Thanks in advance for your time. :)

Thank you.
In the first thread, which I had posted in the wrong forum, I was recommended the EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply. It would actually only cost about £5 more than the Super Flower one you recommended but has 750W. Between those two, which would be the better pick?
And what would be the main differences between the units?
Also, how would those compare to the cheaper Corsair mentioned earlier?
Sorry for the many questions.

No... The CX series uses poor capacitors.
