Hi, recently bought a asus xonar essence stx soundcard. Tried to get it going but can't get any sound from it.
I have connected it to a pci ex 4 port on my asus z97 motherboard and then i used a 4 pin molex from my corsair ax 760 to power up the soundcard. The soundcard gets detected and the drivers work and i can see that music is flowing from the soundcard, but i cant get any actual sound.
And no it is on the headphone and not speaker.
My guess is that i have the wrong power cable. I used the one that i got from the ax 760, and basically it is 4 female molex connected together leading to a 6 pin power cable for the ax 760. Any thoughts?
