Can this PC run Dayz Standalone?

Hello, I am pretty certain that my PC is fully capable of running Dayz Standalone on possibly high settings and that I need at least 6GB of RAM in order for it to do so. I would like to know if I am correct. The following are my PC specifications...

Monitor: 1920x1080
CPU: Intel Core 2 Extreme Processor X6800 2.93GHz
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX
RAM: 2GB (what I think needs to be upgraded)
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium

While your ram definitely need an upgrade. Arma's engine love clock speed. The extra ram would help but I doubt you can achieve a playable level at high settings.
The minimum requirement for the game are your spec and usually it just mean booting the game.

You would need a spec above their recommended spec for high settings.
