Hello Guys first sorry for my bad english
i have an asus x550vc whit 4gb ram
i5-3230m 2.6 ghz
and im upgrade the laptop whit kingston PC3-12800 Ddr3 (1600) now i have 8gb ram
but in crucial show me that the voltage need to be 1.35 !
and im doing a ram test whitout any problem ! but the voltage are 1.5 of the new ram
im just asking if the ram are compatible whit my laptop
Please Guys any Help

Solution
When i look at intel for your cpu do i get this,

Memory Specifications
Max Memory Size (dependent on memory type) 32 GB
Memory Types DDR3/L/-RS 1333/1600
so your cpu supports the 1600mhz ram.How much voltage the ram needs to work has further nothing to do with the cpu.
The L/rs are just additions on the standard ddr3,with L being Low voltage=1.35V ram,rs having a "reduced standby" =even lower power usage.

You could do the next to see if it will display the ram nrs,

Download hwinfo32,
http://www.hwinfo.com/download32.html
open it,click run, close the top window which is the system summary, click save report at the left top,in the next window at the bottom check=dot "short text report" after that next, you'll get to see what is in your pc,copy that by clicking "copy to clipboard" and right click and paste in you next post.

That was what i wanted to see,but not what i was hoping to see or even expecting to see. This gives only 4gb ram and no partnrs.
When looking at the next did i expect that you already had the second 4gb in the laptop,

Can't btw figure out what you mean by "Crucial" in that quote since you talk about kingston ram.

Can you give a link to that crucial site?
And you meant that the other already there ram was supposed to run at 1.35V?
The kingston is supposed to run at 1.5V from what i can find out.

That's good.

That's good too. ;)

I didn't see anything mentioned in the manual for the laptop about needing ram at a max of 1.35V.You think they should mention that under the ram replacement/upgrade chapter.
Also does the ram that they (crucial) provide use different latency's than the stock ram while the kingston runs at the same ones.

I think you're fine with what you bought since all is working well.It probably uses just a bit more so the battery life will be just a bit shorter and with that i mean how long you can use it per day.

Maybe the guy from asus will say something different, but let's wait for that.

Sooo broo you think that i will have no problem im run the windows memory diagnostic and all looks good
and why both change too 1600
my default ram are show me this
Maximum Supported Memory Clock: 1300.0 MHz
but when im add the kingston both change too 1600 !
i hope you can help me bro

As you see are in both logs your ram @1600mhz,it says 798mhz but you need to multiply that with two.The first shows without the new ram=4gb,the second shows 8gb,is with the new ram. This means that your ram has run @1600mhz all the time.
The specs of the laptop also gives ram @1600mhz as i rememeber, not going to look it up again.

that's what i found in intel website about the m cpu series
The processor system memory controller supports DDR3L, DDR3L-RS, LPDDR3 memory technologies with the following features and details.
System Memory I/O Voltage 1.35V 1.20V
any explanations bro
im just getting the laptop and im worried sorry bro
