I've had the following happen to me a couple of times. When gaming, audio will suddenly cut off, screen will go black (BUT after restart Windows claims it was a Blue Screen error) and gfx card fans will ramp up to what seems like 100%. System will then restart on its own... Event log claims system restarted because of bugcheck 0x00000116. It doesn't seem to be temperature related. I'm thinking it's either my video card's gone bad or my PSU is somehow having problems. However, the PSU never failed me with a GTX 680.

The problem's become more and more frequent, to the point in which I can't really game for more than an hour. What's interesting is I haven't had it happpen while stress testing with Furmark, Valley or Heaven.

Windows memory diagnostic tool doesn't show any errors as of yet.
Error doesn't happen when playing stuff that isn't really intensive, LoL or WoW won't crash it. GW2, Watch_Dogs and Shadows of Mordor (among others) will.
PSU is an XFX 850W oem'd by Seasonic so it is of decent quality at the very least.
No artifacts while gaming makes it hard to point directly at the 780ti, however I do believe it could very easily be that the graphics card has gone bad.
Googling hasn't lead to anything useful, and a lot of posts get too technical for me... I wouldn't even know how to get around to working with the "dump files" people talk about.
There are posts in the Nvidia forums of people who've complained about similar problems but there never seems to be a decent conclusion.
Any help is appreciated.

Thing is I had been running on previous drivers, I updated a couple of days ago but it doesn't seem to solve anything.
