I need help finding a gaming laptop please

Im a PC noob that would appreciate help finding a prebuilt gaming laptop. It needs to be in Amazon and under $800. Would need to be able to run games like LoL, CSGO, Wow, Skyrim, Minecraft, Garrys Mod, SMITE, Call of Duty, etc. I don't play games in ultra setting but would like to play with good fps in low to medium settings. Any help is appreciated.

Also i would like to point out that i know a desktop is better but i need it for travel.

I would recommend something from Lenovo, MSI, or ASUS. Typically the better the GPU in a gaming laptop, the better it will perform in games. Just remember gaming laptops are sometimes heavy and heat up a lot, and typically don't have the best battery life.

That is a decent gaming laptop, 840M isn't the best but it will do what you want, and a powerful CPU.

Typically you would need to spend a bit more to get a nicer gaming laptop, and yes desktops are much better but you want something portable. Search up gaming laptop on Amazon, and you can also compare them as well. Good luck.

Rummage around and see if you can find a refurbished computer with a GTX 860m.

The last generation Lenovo y 510p may be found discounted. You are at a cusp where your best choice is an open box or refurbished higher grade product.

According to Nvidia's website, the GTX 840M is about the equivalent to a 4400 in performance. So again it is a weak card, it should be able to handle basic graphics, and intergrated intel graphics are decent, but the nvidia GPU would do better. The MSI Gp60 looks like a good all around laptop. I do agree with DonkeyOatie on getting something refurbished, you could get much higher performance in games. Anything with "GTX" means it's a higher end card. GT are typically low-end.

Read this and look at the gaming benchmarks. also look at the GPU tier list, The 860m is your target, if you can find one.
