I recently replaced my broken Crosshair V Formula motherboard with a new Crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard. However, when I got the new motherboard installed though I get lights, and fans, it won't post. I don't get a signal to my monitor, and I get a Q-Code "FF", and I have two Q-LED lit up. MY Processor LED is solid, and my DRAM LED is Flashing. My problems all started with a failure of my PSU, So I do have a brand new PSU. Based on the basic research I have done so far, I am looking at one of two options, One my CPU fried when my PSU and Motherboard took a dump, and two my CPU/RAM is not compatible with my new motherboard.
Any Takers in letting me know what kind of mess I am dealing with???

MY System is:
Amd 8150 black edition 3.6 GHz (no over clocking)
Asus Amd radeon HD 6950 2 GB direct cu II
Xigmatek stealth CPU cooler 2x120 mm fans
Asus crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard with bios version 2101
Corsair vengence 2x8gb ram 1600 mhz
Evga supernova 1200 watt platinum power supply.
Wesern digital black caviar 1 1tb hdd & 1 2tb hdd
Samsung 120 GB ssd
Cooler master haf-x case.

First try a different monitor, and different hook-ups. It could possibly be your CPU or GPU. I'm sure the crosshair for being a high-end board may have built in graphics though. Try hooking up your GPU to a different system just make sure you have a PSU to run the GPU, and if your motherboard has on-board graphics hook up the monitor to the motherboard.

The Crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard does not come with on-board graphics, so I am stuck with using my Aftermarket graphic card. By all appearances, the graphics card is working. Since I am not hooked to an actual monitor, and instead running through a LED tv, it does not behave like a monitor when I plug a device in, there is not standby, just no picture if it does not receive a signal. It seems like the Q-LED for my graphics card would be lit if there was a problem with the card. Are there any tests to see if my RAM is bad, short of putting it in another computer? Or my processor. On another direction of thought, my RAM is not listed on the QVL list, so could that be causing an issue? My RAM is two years old, and the motherboard is newer, I saw alot of Corsair models listed, just not mine.
