Good day!
Thanks in advance for all the replies!

Quick breakdown:
I have a 128gb ssd drive with windows installed. win 7.1. currently this is my main drive which i'm booting from.
I have an older 1TB SATA drive which I have disconnected, it was previously used as my boot drive and hence has windows as well.
If i want to insteall this 1TB SATA drive in my system, and use it as a backup, are there any precautions i should take?
Reason I'm asking as since it also has windows installed, i dont want to connect it and then have an error where the PC recognizes 2 versions of windows during bootup. Of course, once i successfully install the old 1TB SATA drive, i will format it and use it purely as a 2nd hard drive.

Thanks!
