I'm about to finally lock in the parts for my new rig, which will be the first one I put together by hand and the first one to receive overclocking. It'll be used for gaming, video recording, and ultimately editing.

I'm curious as to what everyone's thoughts are on the final build because I've honestly been staring at it so long and tweaking it I'm about ready to lock in the final build.

EDIT: I'm buying from an Australian retailer called Umart. I save money by being able to pick up the parts and they're generally cheapest there. I don't see an option for Umart on Partpicker, so it's just for arranging the parts nicely.

Well, I hope so :) but anyhow, I think the build you have created looks all good, all seems compatible and ready to go :D

I think it looks pretty good, but what do you think about this one? I made it for someone a little bit ago, just modified it for you, and it is cheaper.

Edit: I just modified it to the things I think you will need, according to your build anyways. I just compared them and modified mine a bit.

Oh, okay, nevermind then. I'd say your build is all good. Except maybe the monitor, it says $600 for it, lol. What did you think about the Asus one I put on there?

It is certainly an option. I've picked out the BenQ because of some of the reviews I've seen and I really wanted to spend a bit more on it because I'm generally quite cheap when it comes to displays and want something high end.

Then why not go with the Asus 1440p 144Hz monitor? Except for it is like $900 if that's too much for you.
