AMD FX 8350 Stock Cool Question?

I came from an AMD FX 6200 that also used the stock cooler.
I just bought the AMD FX 8350 and wanted to make sure the stock cooler would be okay for it.

On my 6200... I gamed A LOT and I do a ton of video editing using After Effects. PC has never crashed or gone into standby or anything like that to protect the core from overheating.

My question is- would I get the same results from the 8350's stock cooler? Would I be able to game or edit videos without that fear of my CPU over heating? I won't run benchmarks or overclock. Do you guys think I will be okay?

If you don't think the stock cooler is as good or not as effective as my 6200 was... what one would you recommend? I am on a TIGHT budget. Nothing over $35 please as I spent most of my money on the new processor. It also needs to be easy to install because I am stupid when it comes to working with the insides of a computer.

Don't know if this is even relevant let alone will help... but I will list my motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3

-Noise is not an issue. I'm used to my computer sounding like a "lead blower" so I don't mind loud noises.
-Heard of liquid cooling, but don't know if that will work as well for me as a heatsink would. Don't know much about them but would give them a try if it's the better option for keeping my CPU cool.

depends on how lucky you where in lottery and how hot your particular chips is running, but even if its to hut it won't shut down or anyhting it will simply throttle down to 1,4ghz to keep it from overheating

Guys - he said easy to install - I couldn't ever honestly consider the 212 to be particularly 'easy'

If you got the amd cooler with the copper heatpipes then it will 'do the job'
Its a noisy little beast though make no mistake.

For a cheap cooler that's easy to fit the zalman cnps5x is thoroughly decent ,better than the tx3 ,very easy to fit - spread the thermal paste, loosen the screws ,latch it on to the amd stock mount, screw it down.& it mounts the correct way unlike the tx3 on an amd board.

I ended up getting the 212... and it was kind of a pain in the ass XD. I was hoping more for just placing it on much like a stock cooler rather than doing what the 212 wanted me to do... but it runs well and thank you for your suggestion! Next build I will consider! :)
