Hi,
I was wondering if there is reliable hhd case or mobile/external storage with wifi network bridging or usb port capable of utilising mobile wifi router?
The point is:
I'm using mobile wifi - currently huawei e586 (planning on buying other MiFi with 4g capabilities at 800/1800/probably also 2600Mhz in my country) which provides access to network via wifi or usb - either doesn't require any dedicated programs
I'm considering buying either some combo 4g(lte)/hdd external storage and sharing thingy, if anything like that would show up on the market, OR
HDD storage, prefered mobile, with:
abiliti\y to connect modem like that via usb, OR
wifi sharing (bridging) capabilities, so i could surf on the internet and be connected to storage simultaneously - i.e. saving downloaded files directly on hdd and not laptop, phone or tablet and then copying
what i've found so far is:
LaCie Fuel 1TB or 2TB Wireless 3.0 USB
Silicon Power Sky Share H10 500GB or 1TB USB3.0
both from 2013/12 colourmylearning site (top 5 wireless portable hard drives)
has anyone tried sth like this/
how reliable connection is/
are there any other, better solutions which i've missed due to the fact that english isn't my native language?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
