windows 8.1 everything is black

Hi,
My friend was screwing around with my BIOS and he did something to mess with me.
Now everything is black including the login screen and all windows dialog boxes. The text is either blue or white on webpages and dialog boxes. it's almost as if there is a negative photo effect on my computer. Any ideas as to what he did?

Maybe he just used a function key to change theme? like for example a high contrast theme?

left alt + left shift + print screen will toggle high contrast theme.

Turns out there wasn't any BIOS change done. He used some function key to change it. It is difficult to describe, you know how when you open my computer the background of the dialog box is white? well that, and everything else changed to black and the text became white. Even webpages became black. Seems like a display settings change. Still want to know how he did it even though the issue is resolved.

Yep that did the trick. Thanks. Also, is there any way to toggle this using windows settings? Doesn't make sense for it to be just a function key thing.
