Greetings everyone at toms forum,

A friend of mine sold me an Alienware MS-7543 ver. 2.0 x58 motherboard with the intel xeon x5660 processor, now I also purchased an OCZ gold series (OCZ3G1600LV6GK) 3x2GB (6GB) ddr3-1600mhz CL8 rams. The problem now is after finishing putting up together all the parts my parts I always get a 4GB memory and not 6GB. I started re-seating the rams on the motherboard but to no avail, I started checking the all the rams one by one, all the ram modules are tested and working properly. When I tried taking a peek at the bios setting it was stated there that all 1-2-3 dimm slots are populated with an ocz 2GB rams and I didn't noticed any differences in the ram module specs being attached.
When I booted with windows 7 64bits I tried looking at the computer properties, it also says there that there is 6GB but only approximately 4GB usable.

My question now is how can we activate triple channel ram in this motherboard?
When I did cpu-z the spd tab was able to enumerate all the ram modules attached in the computer, and at the memory tab it was stated their that the computer is running at dual channel, rather than triple channel.

Any ideas on how to get this fixed?

My bios version is A11 (??/??/2011).

Thank you very much...
