Hello I'm having trouble formting an android notebook

OS jelly bean 4.2.1
Android 4.2 1089 Netbook WM8880 Dual Core 1.5GHz with 10.1 inch WSVGA Screen WIFI HDMI TF 1GB RAM 8GB ROM

I can't seem to open into the bios on start

tryed using yumi pendrive but can't mount ISO image

tryed from connected laptop to format drive

Goal is to wipe the hardrive and install light linux OS

I'm sorry if this makes no sense I'm ok with computers but a-bit behind tecnology :D

kind regards

Bear in mind that ARM devices are very different from PCs. For example, concepts such as BIOS don't apply and you must make sure that you install an ARM-based Linux not an x86 one. Unless you know what you are doing (and even if you do!) there is a very good chance that you will brick your devce.

With that proviso - and if you're willing to take the risk - here's a thread to get you started: http://www.techknow.me/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=91dcad4ced43b83ffcd5a5372102c84a&topic=3996.60

Sorry the thought of having no BIOS scares me but also explains somethings.

I can build a PC, sort out drivers and OS then i can only tinker and guess.

would you advise i install a ARM-based Linux OS or just use the android OS
