I recently bought a Strix R9 285, and i went to plug it into my motherboard and run the test boot, and realized i needed both of the two six pin power connectors. There's one problem. it only came with one... Maybe I'm missing something or being stupid, but I need some help.

Solution
I think you're overthinking this. You just need to plug the 6 pin connectors into the card itself and not use any of the adapters they included with the card. Most of the time you can just throw those away.

When I opened up the package, it came with a 6 pin connecter to go to the card, with two connectors branching off of that. However, the card requires two six pin connectors to power it. so, shouldnt it come with the hook ups to power it...?
there are four six pin connectors that i can plug in on my psu
