Is a 620W PSU enough or do I need to go higher?

Hello. So I am building a desktop and stuck on what power supply to get. Currently, I am choosing between these two:

Antec HCG M Series HCG-620M

Antec HCG M HCG-850M

I am choosing these two because they are currently on sale. I do not plan on overclocking and just plan on running at stock speeds. Anyways, here is my current build:

Case: Corsair Carbide Series 500R
DVD: Lite-On DVD Burner SATA Model iHAS124-14-OEM
HDD: Western Digital WD Blue 1TB
Mobo: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970
Wi-Fi: Rosewill RNX-N600PCE
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T4
GPU: PowerColor TurboDuo AXR9 280 3GBD5-T2DHE/OC
CPU: AMD FX-6300
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8 GB (2 x 4 GB)

Thanks for any help!

yah they always exaggerate the power needs to be safe. that psu is plenty enough for even better gpu's so your even ok for a future upgrade or 2

Ok, thanks! So, I am most likely going to go with the 620W PSU, but, on the GPU's website, it says that it requires a minimum of 750W. Is that false?

Thank you for the help and the quick response!

The 620 is more than you need. The 620 is a great supply made by a reputable manufacturer and will do what is says.

The 750w is to cover the GPU manufacturer from people who use thinly disguised boat anchors as power supplies, the $20 Super-Duper-Extra-Mega-Killer 600W supply that kills only itself and nearby computers.
