I need a motherboard that works with this cpu that DOESN'T require a bios update. I'm getting a bit worried as it has already been ordered and i have not found a mobo that works with it in my price range (£100)

Any help would be amazing

I'd take any of the boards I listed. They're all good boards and have very similar features.

My personal pick would be the Z97-A. The Gaming 5 would be good too, and the ASRock offers a lot for the price.

If you find anymore, please keep them around/under £100

Could you personally recommend one or are they very similar?

dont mean anything bulton just you need to do research when assembly your own pc and if you just come to forums and don't read articles your just going to be lost and taken by opinions from people that are not experts.
If you like msi then get msi.. they will take care of you if anything is wrong.

MSI has QC issues with their motherboards, it's the very reason most here don't recommend MSI boards.

Just because Tom's recommend it doesn't mean it's a good buy. MSI picks a board and sends it to them for testing, that isn't going to show QC issues.

It's pretty common knowledge around here (and most tech forums) about their QC problems, read some threads and you'll quickly see that. If they could fix the QC issues, I would have no problem recommending their boards.

bla bla.. I have seen many of MSI products working great in person and only 1 gtx 760 that was crap that a friend got and they upgraded it to a gtx 770 for free.

I did recommend Asus or Gigabyte but if someone likes MSI there is nothing wrong with it.
