will intel core 2 quad cpu fit?

Solution
It looks like the platform for that CPU is very old and it's unlikely you'll find any fairly priced replacement motherboards. I think this would be an opportune time to buy a new system all together. I say you should just sell those parts on ebay and get an AM3+ or Intel Haswell motherboard. You may want to keep the graphics card depending on whether or not you want you still play games. If not, sell it too and use the money to help buy new compatible cpu and ram for the new motherboard.

Nope, your CPU is an Intel and the mobo you linked is AMD-based. They will not work together.
Finding a motherboard that will fit your CPU will be an hard task. The cheapest I could find was around $75.
I might not be looking at the right places though.
