Hey there, sambit15k!

I can add some details to what ttcboy and popatim already suggested.

WD Black drives are designed for performance and used mostly for gaming and high-end demanding applications.

As for the WD Blue drives - they are mostly for everyday computing, meaning just for regular use in PCs and laptops. They are reliable internal HDDs with solid performance.

WD Greens are mainly used as secondary storage solutions. They offer great capacity to store massive data and also run quiet and cool which makes them pretty reliable for backup solutions as well.

WD Red drives are identified as NAS drives because they are specifically designed and tested for 1-8 bay NAS systems and PCs with RAID configurations. In other words - optimal performance for systems operating in NAS and RAID environments.

Hope this thoroughly answers your question! :)
