Will I need to upgrade my power supply along with my video card and CPU?

This is my current build:

AMD FX 6350
GeForce GTX 660 2GB
8gb RAM
Corsair CX500M

I am planning on upgrading to an AMD FX 8350 and a GTX 760 2GB

I was just wondering if I would need to upgrade my psu as well, or if 500 watts would be fine.

The PSU is about 1 1/2 years old if that matters!

500w is the minimum recommended for the gtx 760. A lot of people have issues with power either due to not enough of it (running the bare minimum and heavy use or overclocking pushes them over the limit) or going cheap on a poor quality unit. Honestly, I'd opt for something like a 650 or a 750 if you plan to run them in sli in the future.

Take a look here for the breakdown of the different psu tiers for quality/performance. It's the link from the sticky at the top of the forum. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html

this is a good place to find what you wanna know

Consider they set it up to show higher than real results (by default they set CPU load 100% and all components load 90%, that is insane as an average).
I calculated your setup. 500w are perfect, provided it's a good PSU. You'll be using 200-300 watt most of time, a 500w PSU will get its optimal efficiency.
