The processor I have is an i5-4460 and with that installed all the fans spin up but I see no display and no POST also, keyboard does not flash. After a bit of research I found out I need to update the BIOS to get it to work so with a friends processor I attempted to update the BIOS. At 85% progress the display went black and would not display anything after restarting several times. Can this be fixed or do i have a dead motherboard now? Any help would be very much appreciated.
