Hello all! As of yesterday I finished my first build for a decent gaming pc the link is here http://pcpartpicker.com/p/gNVmWZ however I'm running into an issue many seem to have, I Sam planning on using RAM that uses 1.65v where the CPU only offers 1.5 what I want to know is if I go ahead with this build and if I overclock the CPU to 4.4ghz will I lose some speed and computing power from the RAM? Or will there be a negligible difference compared to ram at 1.5v and ddr3-2133? Thanks!

Hi Mikeandike.
1. Yes there is g8 chance 1.65V will hamper cpu OCing capabilities
2. Instead 4 ram sticks use 2 x 8 GB if you really want 16GB. less overheat for cpus memory controller. Although if its gaming only pc and you don't plan for sli/xfire config. 8Gb is more than enough. I would recommend something like 1866Mhz at 1.5V Cl9 or 2400Mhz 1.65V Cl9 (since you can always down-clock/uover-clock trying to find sweet OC spot)
3. I would invest more in to GPU (you can find money in overpriced ram you have picked)
