Yes it will work the qvl list is just memory they have tested. Their no guarantee it will run that speed as with any memory that is overclocked.
You really should buy 1.5 volt memory not 1.65 thats whst the Intel memory controller is recomended for.

I don't hate it, it's just overpriced one for almost half that price will do about the same thing. Your paying a premium price for the ROG on the board when other brands will perform just the same at a lower price with the same quality parts.
