Custom Build (Critiques Welcome and Requested)

Solution
Just a couple of questions, what is the use of that PC : Gaming or Professional work or both ?

What would you do with 32GB RAM ?

Why do you need 1TB SSD ? What's the use of it ?

Some suggestions : Get rid off of your PSU. Choose a decent one like XFX, Seasonic, Corsair(not CX,CM,VS,RM).

Get a bigger case for your own good and from a decent brand, like Cooler Master, Corsair.

You can choose "Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO" for CPU Cooler, IMHO it worth the money.

And if I were you I would go for AMD 8350 as CPU with a suitable MB and a better more fast future proof GPU. Thanks and good luck.

+1 as asked above.
I built you a list under the assumption that this is strictly gaming. This includes SLI support ( with one GTX 970 included), the ability to overclock (with better temps) and less unneeded hardware. and is still $300 cheaper (there's your SLI right there)

I left the case as is, but would still recommend a different one.

It's just going to be for gaming. I agree that the SSD is a bit of an overkill as well as the RAM. Honestly, I may just be getting excited about the "Cyber Monday" deal for the SSD ($359).

Would you strongly recommend downgrading both of those? I'm pretty sure that 16gb should really be all I need for the RAM.

Ok, most of us need max to max 128GB SSD for OS and Programs, so there's no need for 1TB, its your call.

And you cannot use more than 8GB of RAM in current situation, no game no application will need more than 8GB, so you can get max 12GB not 16GB, its useless, and you have the option to increase it later if at all you need it.

I would go for a single powerful GPU not a SLI setup.

Don't compromise with PSU, its the most important part of your build, just keep that in mind. Good luck.

I would say 8gb would be sufficient, but 16 would be more than enough for just gaming. Definitely downgrade the storage because you should not need that at all. the only thing I would change is the case, and if it is still in the budget, go ahead and use that SLI haha, but its not needed. If you would like advice on a case, Phanteks Enthoo Pro (white or black) has my Strongest recommendation. I listed white shown below.

Thanks for the input! I downgraded my SSD and RAM (I knew I was crazy just needed someone to talk me out of it. haha). I also changed the PSU to a Rosewill that seems to have some solid reviews. I changed the processor to the Intel recommended as well. Updated the link in the original post.

How's this looking now?
