Using and switching between two different kinds of Graphics cards?

Would anyone recommend installing both a Geforce and Radeon GPU and switching between them(by changing the default PCI slot in the BIOS) depending on the game?(Not linking them, I know that's not possible) I already have a Radeon 270X and its run everything I play so far perfectly fine. Far Cry 4 is the first game I've come across that I'm having any issues with. I did some research and found that NVidia would allow me to make some adjustments I don't think I can make otherwise to optimize gameplay. I've also heard, though I'm not really sure how much truth there is to this, that games will run better on certain graphics cards depending on what GPUs they were designed around(Far Cry 4 being NVidia). Any input? Would there be any issues with consistently switching between GPUs? Is there a better way of achieving what I have in mind?

This would be asking for trouble. Both cards will run and generate heat. Every time you switch you will have to reinstall drivers. You are much better off just using a single card. If you have the money, either crossfire with another 270x or just buy a single faster card. The minor adjustments you could make are just not worth it. You can try installing new beta drivers, but honestly, you should not expect great performance with a 270x no matter what settings you tweak on such an intense/new game.

>>I can see them both constantly running being an issue, but why would I have to reinstall the drivers each time?(I ask out of curiosity. trying to learn as much as I can here. XP)

Windows will only use either the AMD or Nvidia driver. When you switch cards in the bios, windows will have to switch which driver it is using. You may not have to totally reinstall each time, but Windows will go through the "adding new hardware" process each time you make the change. You will probably need to reboot twice to fully activate the driver. You would have to test your setup to find out the exact procedure. Nvidia and AMD drivers can sometimes work without breaking eachother.
